The Royal Castle of Wawel Amazingly this castle was built on the banks of the vistula and has been used for all types of purposes. Once it was a military base, another time a royal palace. There are some great trips to be taken thorughout the castle, and especially within the actual hill itself. Definately a good visit.
The Square The largest square in Europe is probably also the business yet relaxed places to be. Its huge and allows people to relax around the edges drink beer and watch the world go by. For centuries it was the most important public place. Today it serves as Krakow’s gravitation center and the natural meeting and start point for any outing and has lots a pubs and bars around the edge enticing anyone to visit a relax with the view. At Christmas it becomes a spectacular market.
