Most pharmacy technicians aim to have their CPht Exam from a nationally recognized certifying organization. This is something that you’ll notice if you’re in the healthcare industry, especially in a pharmacy-related career. Talking to a pharmacist friend the other day, he told me something that I also knew was right; that in his years of experience working in a pharmacy, he found that well-trained and certified pharmacy technicians are valuable assets for pharmacists and for a pharmacy. Maybe that fact wasn’t true a couple or more decades ago, because back then, a pharmacist’s and pharmacy technician’s job wasn’t as complex as compared to their tasks and responsibilities these days.
