If anyones wondering: I made this for my video productions class, not for the internet. I just put it up along with all my other stuff. There is an intro of me walking, and then a little outi with my bro!
So, since I did not feel like buying an expensive system to install in the datsun that would most likely outweigh the value of the car, this is what I did: I figured out what I needed to hook up an old basic bookshelf system in the car and make it work. I made this video for my video productions class, so It wont be as informative as it could, but you can get the basic idea.
I just got all the required stuff and hooked it all up, and it has been working beautifuly for a few months now…
I hope you can do this also, and that it might help, or you could just show some of your friends.

What cords or wires would you need to hook up a computer to a stereo system? I have a Technics stereo system.
It depends on the outputs which your computer has and on the inputs which your stereo system has. If your computer has an output for a jackplug, you can use that. On your stereo system you can use a jackplug as well perhaps, or otherwise "tulipplugs" as we call them in my country (red and white plugs). Better would be a digital connection though, such as a SPDIF or coaxial connection, but both your computer and stereo system will need to support this then.
I have had my stereo system for about 4 years now and it has always worked fine. Now if i go to put in a Cd (which i know works because it plays in my other systems) it will just keep saying "read" and then eventually go onto another Cd. It is in my room and is in the same place it has always been.
Do you have any idea what is wrong with it?
Is there anything i can do to fix this problem?
Please Help!
check the CDs maybe they’re defected or the format isn’t compatible with the system

I’ve been longing for a set of GOOD iPod speakers and/or stereo system that has a wireless remote, is loud, clear, physically small, and ideally cheap ( cheap as in fairly priced, not as in bad like Toys R Us crap ) Anything helps!
Do you have a stereo with a cassette deck?
Check out the cassette deck really closely. Take an old pair of headphones or a similar wire, lead it in there, and slowly close the cassette door. If it closes all the way, congratulations! We can go on from here.
Now, what you want to do is go out to Best Buy or Radioshack or wherever and look for one of these thing-things:

The quality is whatever quality your stereo can put forth. They’re very cheap (Usually under 15 bucks, most likely around 10) Bonus points: You can use it in the car, too. It’s also very small!
Mine is pretty old, so I can only use the volume and pause functions on my remote, but who knows? They might have something more advanced now.
Also a choice if you already own a stereo is the iPod docking station. It’s expensive for what it is, but it’s very small, very basic, nothing you really don’t need:

Then there’s the actual made-for-iPod speakers, which aren’t cheap in any sense of the word. CNET gives reliable reviews most of the time; I’d suggest looking there:
