    Now, that’s just foolish.

My PBX can handle – at least this is what we’ve tested anyway – 19 calls simultaneous on Cable. Add that to the trunk of 23 PRI lines and that’s 42 simultaneous calls. With the available bandwidth that was left on the Cable connection, we could have easily gotten up to 25-30 VoIP calls from the 19. Granted, no one would be able to DO ANYTHING online, but that’s not the point.

Most of our users are remote users, which means SIP/IAX.

    Point is, you’re wrong.

My set up went just like this – the phone worked as soon as the phone configured, and that only took 1 minute! Being able to change the extensions myself online is also incredibly convenient. Thanks guys!

I personally set up six phones in twenty minutes, the five minutes required was spent walking from office to office and plugging each phone in myself. I had no problems with the configuration process, it was great.

It’s a cool idea, showing how set up works, I thought. I’m not very technical and I’d been trying to look into business VoIP for a while when I stumbled on this. I’ve been using this service at my company for about three months nowv(with DSL) and I haven’t had any quality problems to speak of. Good idea.

    For additional $40 …
For additional $40 per month can have dual internet, but that is not the issue. Current VOIP users from home have quality issues sometime and now you want an entire office to go across a non QOS network (internet). In addition, most DSL and cable have poor upload speeds. Average DSL/Cable could not handle 3+ calls.

trixbox 2.6 will install in about 10 minutes on a good machine and someone that knows what they are doing can do a base config in about 2-3 minutes.
