I have a Scion TC and it doesn’t have that bad of a stock sound system. However I like my music really loud a lot of the time and when I turn it up at high volumes it sometimes doesn’t sound the best. I am wondering what I can do to make it sound better?

I listen to rock mostly and I don’t care for a lot of base, but maybe just a tiny bit would be okay. What do you suggest and what are some good brands?

Stay away from Sony and those other crap brands. if you want bang, you go with big names. Pioneer.JL Audio. ETC. these ones I linked you have a 3 year warranty. Ebay is your friend- these are much cheaper on Ebay (in the same condition) than they would be at best buy or similar.

I wouldn’t bother with the rear speakers, I really wouldn’t.

   Sony x-plod are great subwoofers How many door speakers do you have…side speakers dash speakers? The same brand of speaker with 2 4×9’s is great to make it louder

   Since you don’t need a lot of bass, maybe you’ll be fine with just upgrading your stock speakers. I have Memphis PR in my 04 Malibu, they sound really good. I got 4 for under $300.
